PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Project consists of the design and construction of new building facilities for the Weish Chaman Border Control Crossing facility in Spin Boldak, Afghanistan. The site is located in the southern portion of the Kandahar province on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The project is defined as the design, material, labor, and equipment to construct new buildings, parking, roads, utilities, water well, and other infrastructure including, but not limited to, electrical distribution, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection system and treatment system for on-site personnel and those persons who are crossing the Afghanistan – Pakistan border.
There are more than 22 units of RCC frame buildings with CMU walls and also 2 pieces of steel constructed buildings in that project. A steel constructed telecommunication antenna tower with the height of 45 m is included in this facility.
The work within this project has been designed and constructed in accordance with the current International Building Code (IBC), Life Safety Codes (NFPA-101), Force Protection and security standards.
And the facility will be utilized to serve as new Border Control Point of Afghanistan; where located on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
